The Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion sponsors The Student Government Association (SGA), which promotes student involvement and represents the voice of students.
They also funds and works with campus clubs and organizations.
The elected representatives of the SGA are the president, five vice presidents, two student regents, and senators. The Senators represent each of the colleges, classes, and residence halls. In an effort to provide the most complete educational experience possible for University of Hartford students, SGA's goals include:
Promoting excellent communication throughout the University community
Coordinating and encouraging student participation in the campus community
Providing responsible and effective student participation in appropriate decision making processes of the University
Advocating for student welfare and student interests
Insuring the fair treatment of all University students
Promoting student participation in the academic life and mission of the University
